healthy!
my meals last week-
monday breakfast: a chocolate muffin
monday lunch: a french dip sandwich
monday dinner: buca di bepo… a salad, chicken marsala, and pasta split amongst TWO people
tuesday breakfast: the continental breakfast buffet (and i wasn’t even hungry after monday’s dinner)
tuesday lunch: a steak sandwich (and this was REAL steak put into a bun!)
tuesday day: schnitzel!
wednesday breakfast: finally couldn’t take it and skipped a meal
wednesday lunch: roast beef sandwich from harris teeter
wednesday dinner: bbq
thursday breakfast: continental breakfast buffet again!
thursday lunch: a chinese BUFFET!
finally got home thursday and was feeling quite FAT (my pants were feeling smaller already!) and was thinking of just eating something light…
then started getting huungry and ended up ordering 2 LARGE orders of italian wedding soup (i think 1 would’ve been enough), 1 appetizer of toasted ravioli, and a small MEATY pizza to split with my roommate… oh man
finished the week off by getting mcdonald’s for lunch on friday.
so on saturday, i was feeling quite unhealthy and tried to negate it by exercising. went out for a run AND then went to play tennis later on! (exercise was broken up by a quick meal of frozen wontons… more on this later) THEN went and bought caesar salad which i added chicken to to make 2 meals out of! AND then on sunday, ate crabs! which may not be too healthy, but whatever… isn’t seafood supposed to be healthier than other foods? and plus, everything was steamed! steamed crabs, broccoli, and corn! mmmm
thinking of getting in one more game of tennis this weekend… the weather’s been great!
so my one not-so-good meal of the weekend was that wonton soup in between my exercising. the package included this little packet of white powder which they instructed me to put in after the wontons had cooked to make the soup base. didn’t think too much of it and dumped almost all of it in when i realized… packet of white powder?? crap! too late, i think i dumped almost all of the MSG into my soup. was dehydrated the rest of the day. had to keep stopping during tennis to drink more water b/c i was feeling quezy and then after tennis, i had a headache the rest of the day (despite drinking loads and loads of water). terrible! no more packets of white powder!!
