tool time!, chicken soup, claymation, and “friends”
mmm a good weekend…
i finally have a toilet paper holder in my bathroom!
after a couple weeks of ghettoness (i was getting used to it actually), i finally put up the $2 TP holder from ikea. looks quite nice, was feeling quite handy after “helping” (i.e. standing around holding things
) talida put up her shelf in her room and then putting up my TP holder. yay! reminded me of tool time!
made chicken soup friday night, with those yummy red dots too! first time making it with a slow cooker. i love slow cookers! i want to make EVERYTHING in a slow cooker! it’s just too convenient!
finally went and saw wallace and gromit, i liked! kind of scary in some parts… but overall pretty good. i love gromit, he’s so cute. i wish i could do claymation
lastly….. logged onto friendster friday night ’cause changer banger said to add her as my friend
haha, realized i hadn’t logged into friendster in forever. also logged into orkut and facebook for the heck of it. realized a lot of people had updated and i hadn’t ever logged back in to see. i have all these accounts (i’m a follower, everyone’s doing it
) but i don’t bother ever using them. i have some “friends” listed on these places, but i don’t do a very good job keeping in contact with them
it’s just too much work! how effective are these friendster/facebook/orkut like things in helping people keep in touch? they seem like a good idea… having an online directory where you can search for old friends and see how they’re doing and it seems as if a lot of people use it so that provides a good base of friends to connect to, but who actually uses them to keep in touch with friends? i think it just makes it easier for stalking… the friends you really keep in touch with, you keep in touch with without using those services right? so then u really only use those services to stalk people who u’re curious about but who u don’t keep in touch with! stalking!!!!

dude they’re making stalking easy now…when WE were in hs, it involved us driving around the person’s neighborhood after finding their address is the school address book. oh man, i’ve said too much.
on another note, gromit is ADORABLE! and so were the bunnies. i really liked the bunnies.
