sleep
i’m so sleepy today at work
and i had nearly 9 hours of sleep last night! i want to curl up and take a nap….
a few other sleep-related things:
- i woke up this morning and there was a small piece of paper on my bed… eh? turns out it was half of mr. dangles bojangles’ “ear ring” (the tag he came with). i showed it to him and told him see, i told you we should’ve taken off your ear ring and kept it safe! he grabbed it from me and tried to stick it back with the rest of his ear ring. it fell again. then he started hugging it, aw.. he’s such a cute monkey. i think now i will be able to cut off his ear ring and give him a bath. he used to grab his ear ring when i said i’d cut it off, but now it’s broken so i don’t think it’ll be a problem. don’t look at me like i’m crazy…
- yesterday i woke up and noticed small drops of blood on my sheets. i freaked out! after checking my lips (once had so chap lips that they cracked and i had a huge blood stain on my pillow
it actually woke me up in the middle of the night and i thought nasty, why am i drooling so much), my nose (my family is notorious for non-stop nosebleeds, my sister actually got sent to the hospital in elementary school because her nose wouldn’t stop), my head, and my fingers (a callous had recently pealed)… i couldn’t figure where it came from!! today, i realized it came from my back. anyone ever get “holes” on their body? literally, tiny (maybe the size of a pencil point) holes that just don’t stop bleeding? anyone? anyone? …
maybe it’s just me. lotion doesn’t seem to help, i get it on my legs and arms too. - so i finally mastered sleeping with a blanket without having it fall off the bed. wasn’t able to do it for 21 years of my life, but finally got it last year. BUT i think i’ve finally figured out why it was so hard! my mom likes to buy full size blankets because they’re bigger BUT i’ve always slept on a twin size bed! because the oversized blanket hangs over the bed, its only natural for the blanket to fall off! yup! it’s not me, it’s the blanket-to-bed proportion! this summer, i switched to a full size bed and it’s amazing how easy it is to keep the blanket on the bed! however, i’ve run into another problem now. so i’ll start with the tag of my blanket by my feet. yet somehow, in the morning, the tag will always be up in my face or something. sometimes, the blanket (which always starts edges square with my bed) ends up rotating ~45 degrees so that i’ll be sleeping with a point (instead of a flat edge)… how does this happen?! does this happen to anyone else?
erp… this entry made me sound weird when that clearly is not the case

I hear you on the blanket thing. I don’t think that it’s just because the blanket was bigger, I thought the same thing, but then I bought a twin blanket and it did the same thing. Now I have a queen sized bed and have no problems (except that the covers end up on my side, might have to work on that before I get married
). My comforter also rotates, I think when I pull it all towards my side. Oh yeah, and my sheets actually stay tucked in at the bottom now that I have a big bed!!
