monkey nonsense

so last amazing race, i hated ray & deana… before that, it was jonathan & victoria.

this year’s amazing race hasn’t been as exciting. it’s family edition, which just seems to make the race less exciting. plus, they’ve been racing across the US (ooh, virginia… exciting…!)… i think later they moved outside the US but now they’re back in the US… kinda dull. i haven’t followed every episode this season ’cause it hasnt been as interesting.

but that doesn’t mean i haven’t chosen a team to hate!! … it’s the weaver family!

things they’ve done/said (from the amazing race webpage at cbs):
Episode 3: “Their behavior took a bizarre turn at a quick restaurant stop when Linda instructed her children to “lie and be completely fake” so the other Teams wouldn’t see them cracking from the pressure. This lead to Rebecca and Linda dancing around in the parking lot while the other Teams looked on in bewilderment. ”
Episode 6: “‘To pass the time, Rachel and Rebecca made fun of the garbage truck (Tony Paolo’s a garbage man), in the Paolo family’s picture while waiting for their yield to expire. Pulling out the Godlewski sisters’ picture, the Weavers joked, “I hope those boobs cost a lot!’”
Episode 8: “After throwing garbage out of their window at the Godlewski sisters and telling a toll attendant to delay the Linz siblings, the Weavers…”
“As the Linzes and Godlewskis each walked back from the cluebox, they passed the Weavers, who became offended when neither Team acknowledged them or accepted a high-five from Linda. An annoyed Linda sniped, ‘They’re just idiots.’”
“Stepping onto the mat in third place, the Weaver family talked to Phil about the animosity between them and the other Teams. Rachel Weaver, in tears, commented, ‘It’s really frustrating because those people are classless…[we’re] the only family that’s trying to live a Christian life and it’s really hard.’”
Episode 9: “Along the way, the Weavers complained about the starkness of Utah’s landscape. Rolly remarked, “God must have spent a little less time on this state.” When told that Utah is called the Mormon state, Rachel added, ‘No wonder it’s so ugly.’”
“Rachel commented, ‘We’re already the last nice family and we’re gone. People who win will probably spend it on a new nose and bigger boobs.’”

man, i haven’t even followed the show that much but those things really make me hate ‘em!
