Tune #4
so it’s been awhile since i’ve attempted another Name That Tune! here’s my latest attempt at #11 on my 1001 Day Project… i’ve actually been practicing other songs more than this one (perhaps i’ll share those butchered masterpieces later)… in fact, i just looked up the notes to this song about a hour ago because i heard it on tv (HINT! HINT!) and thought it sounded nice.
it does sound nice. too bad i butchered another song (ask me about my accidentally sad rendition of “you are my sunshine” on the harmonica!) and ruined it for the rest of you guys.
i’d like to point out a few key things…
- 1. Note the uneven rhythm to the song… it’s NOT supposed to be that way
2. The reason why I was able to pick up the song in about a hour is that it uses the 4 most common chords known to mankind!! good luck identifying this song! ’cause after i’ve completely removed the rhythm, it’s just the same 4 chords repeated over and over again. this could be just as bad as Tune #2 though… Tune #2 i attempted to play a bit of the melody to help you identify it. this time, i didn’t even bother. HA!
as always, this is honestly my best attempt at the song. i’m not purposefully playing it badly… it just comes out that way
take a stab at guessing it… Tune 4

YES, that’s my guess too! Before I looked at her comment.
