vacation
so i just put in my vacation request for the end of the year. as always, i’m taking off the week between christmas and new years. my new company (my old one readily granted exceptions to the rollover limit) limits the number of hours you can roll over so i had to “burn” 6 vacation days at the end of the year. sadly, i’ve used most of my leave for sickness 
darn, i miss the unlimited sick leave at my old company.
so… i’m going to have a week off. (plus, 2 more days some time in december… still trying to find out when to use them) in the past, i’ve spent the week between christmas and new years doing nothing. i don’t want to do that!!! so….
anyone want to take a (skiing??) trip anywhere during that time?! or hang out? 
 yea… kind of last minute, sorry. let me know! otherwise, i’ll end up sleeping away my vacation days like i normally do

Come out to Colorado and go skiing with me! I’m coming back on the 30th, but I’ll be skiing Dec. 26-29 (maybe even on Christmas Day!).

i need to burn vacation days too. I have two to spare, but i’m thinking of using them to be a bum around the house over christmas. there is something nice about christmas in australia… cashing in on extra days at christmas and new years is *summer*

i’m going to be in colorado skiing, too! except it’s supposed to be a family sort of thing. but if you go, i bet we could hang out b/c my cousins are expert skiiers… and i’m not. so i don’t expect to see much of them anyway.
