week off
my company closes for the whole week between christmas and new years. it’s a pretty awesome thing i like about the company. i mean, sure u can take a week off whenever, but because the whole company continues to run while you’re out, there’s that crazy rush before you leave (to make sure everything is in order), the worrying while you’re on “vacation”, and then feeling behind when you get back!! having the entire company close for a week avoids all this!!
so for my week off, i decided to not go anywhere and to just relax. it’s been a crazy busy 2010. i feel like i don’t have much to show for it, but was just busy through the whole year! so i’m going to use my week off to do some stuff around the house and catch up on hobbies.
things i want to do:
- clean up room, organize my desk
- decorate the house so it’s like someone lives here
- shop for living room furniture
- look for lighting options for my backyard/driveway
- read some books
- learn flash
- practice guitar
- cook more. i’ve been practicing my cong you bing!!
